Everybody's A Star

Last night (Wednesday) I went for slices at my favorite pizza joint. $3.00 each. I reached into my pocket to pay, but as I pulled-out my wallet a loose quarter fell to the floor. It landed, then rolled toward the guy behind me, who was kind enough to bend-down and retrieve it. As he handed me the quarter our eyes locked. Hmmmm.

"Do I know you from somewhere?"

"No," I answered, "but you mind if I get a quick picture with you?"

The guy stole a quick look 'round to evaluate the scene.

"..Alright," he said, "if you make it quick."

* NOTE: Sorry for no new writing y'all, but enjoy your long weekend!!!! U.S.A.! U.S.A.! U.S.A.!

He's got good humor in his face.

I can't tell you how many times my son has watched 'Lost Boys'.

Lodo that looks like a gun and not a quarter.

That was nice of him to take the picture with you.

Yeah Willie, I used that pic since I thought it matched thematically to the spirit of 24.

I was going to post pics of Sly Stone, Madonna, and a pic of John Lennon since Sly Stone has that song Everybody's a Star and Madonna has that line "You're a superstar; yes that's what you are--you know it!" And of course Lennon sings "Who in the world do you think you are? A superstar? Well right you are!"

But then I thought posting those pics would detract from Keifer (who I have to say seemed like a hell of a nice guy to me.) I'm only mad at myself for forgetting to ask him who he thought I was!!!
