It's always nice to see a John Lennon tribute, and the 'We'll always love you Jonathon' piece is a heartbreaker.

Yeah Spence, with the Playstation and the Scooby-Doo (what more could a kid want?!).

Most of the people memorialized via mural seem to be below 20-25. Just happens to be that this batch of pics has mostly older people.

I like the title of this post. And the pics.

Thanks Ava,

I'd have liked to have gotten back to my Detroit posts; but between work, a visit from my dad, NBA Playoffs, a big fight coming up this weekend, and an...encounter that cost me a couple of days--I came up with this. I was gonna post it on Memorial Day since I don't like to go more than (4) days w/out a post, but then I thought it might be interpreted as possibly disrespectful. Much respect to our armed forces! And to those who battle it out everyday here at home.

Great pics Lodo. Ever think about putting them in a book?

Do they still make these "books," you speak of Willie? Always dreamed of having my name on the cover of one of those. Not that I ever initiated any action to make that happen, but...I've certainly got one of the best collections of murals; street-art; big, outdoor, spray-paint art; panel trucks; and just plain graffitti in NYC. Course its not hard to look good when you just point and shoot at something great, which is pretty-much my M.O.
