Great pictures. Do store owners allow the painting or are they and done without permission?

I have to beleive that a lot of those murals took a long time--and werent done in the dark. On the other hand, some of those buildings are abandoned or in really poor areas. I'll do some research, but Im fairly sure there's some kind of permission or...understanding.

I can't help but wonder if anyone else is doing what you're doing in NYC right now.

I'm not sure how you'd track down the artists to get their permission to put together a coffee table book, or something like that. At least you're documenting this stuff.

My collection of panel trucks alone is unmatched--let alone big, street-mural art.

I go everywhere for work: uptown, downtown, Harlem, Brooklyn, Bronx, Queens. I go to Yonkers. I go to Staten Island. And I've always got my camera.

So I've got a lot more posts in me.
